Orangie is the online name of Gabriele Leyva, a crypto content creator who moved from esports and NFT gaming content into Solana memecoin commentary.[1]
Background[edit]
Leyva is a former professional esports player who became an NFT collector and made web3 gaming content.[1] Decrypt listed him as a Rug Radio creator and a member of Yuga Labs' Gaming Council, and his disclosure stated he held ETH and a Bored Ape NFT.[1] In February 2024 he covered the Otherside "Apes Come Home" event for Decrypt using his own Bored Ape.[2]
Style[edit]
By 2024 his X posts covered Solana memecoins; in August 2024 Decrypt cited his question of whether a Drake sneaker ad referenced a Solana memecoin.[3] In December 2024 he asked his followers whether the pump.fun "trenches" were a passing cycle or permanent.[4]
