**Useless Coin** (ticker **USELESS**) is a [[Solana]] memecoin launched in May 2025 on [[LetsBonk|LetsBONK.fun]], the launchpad of the [[Bonk]] ecosystem, and marketed as having no utility or roadmap.[^1] After an endorsement from trader [[Unipcs]] in June 2025 it passed $200 million in market cap, and in August 2025 it was listed on Kraken.[^2][^3]

## Lore
The token has no animal mascot; its logo is a community-made golden coin with a chiseled "U", and its pitch is that it is "literally useless".[^1] Its X account posted that "the most honest project is the one that admits it's Useless."[^1]

Unipcs, a trader known as "Bonk Guy", posted about USELESS on 9 June 2025, when its market cap was about $10 million.[^2] CoinDesk reported that he bought about 28 million tokens, roughly 2.8% of supply, for $382,000, and argued that larger memecoins were no less useless.[^1] By 18 June the price had risen about 2,000% in two weeks, from $0.004 to nearly $0.10, with about 12,000 holders.[^1] It peaked near $217 million at $0.22 around the end of June, when it traded only on Solana DEXs ([[Raydium]], Orca and [[Meteora]]) and had no major exchange listing.[^2] Coinspeaker described LetsBonk as a direct competitor to [[pump.fun]].[^2]

Kraken opened USELESS trading on 13 August 2025.[^3] BeInCrypto's market data records an all-time high price of about $0.43 on 14 October 2025, with a circulating supply of about 1 billion tokens.[^4]
