**Mumu** (ticker **MUMU**), marketed as **Mumu the Bull**, is a [[Solana]] memecoin launched in March 2024 and named after Mumu, a green cartoon bull from 4chan's /biz/ board who stands for rising markets.[^1][^2] Benzinga reported it at a valuation of about $250 million in mid-2024.[^2]

## Lore
Mumu first appeared in a /biz/ thread on 13 July 2018 as the counterpart to Bobo, the board's bear; posters invoke Mumu when sentiment is bullish and Bobo when it turns.[^1] The token presented itself as the mascot of the bull market.[^2]

In March 2024 the project announced it had airdropped 20% of supply to leading Solana NFT communities; on 21 March it tagged Binance asking "Wen listing?", while buyers traded it on [[Raydium]].[^3] Benzinga described it as a two-month-old project ranked 237th with a valuation of about $250 million.[^2] In the week to 2 September 2024 MUMU fell 33.6%, among the larger losers of a Solana memecoin slump.[^4]

In June 2026 a new MUMU token began trading on PumpSwap, the [[pump.fun]] exchange, carrying the project's X, Telegram and website links; CoinDesk lists it with a launch date of 8 June 2026 and relabels the March 2024 token as "MUMUV1".[^5][^6]
