Mog Coin (ticker MOG) is an Ethereum memecoin launched on 19 July 2023. Its name comes from 4chan slang in which to "mog" someone is to show dominance over them.[1] It first reached a $1 billion market cap in November 2024, and Coinbase added it to its listing roadmap in December 2024.[2]

The mascot is Joycat, a laughing cat in Pit Viper sunglasses pointing at a screen. Holders signal support with laughing-cat and pointing emojis and by wearing Pit Vipers in real life.[1][2] Decrypt summarised the meme as "effortless cosmic domination".[2]
MOG rose from about $50 million in market cap in February 2024 to over $475 million by mid-March.[2] On 22 July 2024 it set an all-time high of $0.00000245 and a peak market cap of $880 million, and briefly entered CoinGecko's top 100.[1] LCX opened a MOG/EUR pair on 10 September 2024.[3]
On 3 December 2024 Coinbase put MOG on its listing roadmap for trading on Base, and the price rose more than 20% within an hour. Decrypt noted that Pepe and dogwifhat had listed within hours of similar Coinbase notices, and that Coinbase had added Moo Deng to its roadmap the day before.[2] In October 2026 its main Ethereum pool held about $5.4 million in liquidity.[4]
