**Housecoin** (ticker **HOUSE**) is a [[Solana]] memecoin launched on [[pump.fun]] in March 2025 and branded as a hedge against the US housing market.[^1][^2] It reached an all-time high market cap of $120 million in May 2025.[^3]

## Lore
The token's tagline is "Flipping the Housing Market, One $HOUSE at a Time", and it presents itself satirically as a bet on a collapsing real estate market.[^2] Decrypt reported that its community believed the market was declining, citing National Association of Realtors data showing pending home sales at their lowest in 20 years.[^3]

HOUSE rose from $0.010 on 25 March 2025 to a high of $0.076 on 26 April 2025.[^2] By then most trading ran through PumpSwap (about 35% of volume) and [[Meteora]] (about 16%), and the token was listed on MEXC, BitMart and LBank.[^2] After endorsements from crypto influencers on social media it peaked at a $120 million market cap in May 2025.[^3]

[[Chillhouse]], a parody token launched in April 2025 that combined [[Just a chill guy|Chillguy]] with Housecoin, passed Housecoin's market cap on 26 June 2025, when Housecoin was trading flat near $19 million.[^3]
