Frank (Rohun Vora, X: @frankdegods) is the creator of the DeGods and y00ts NFT collections, which he led as CEO until May 2025.[1][2]

Background[edit]

DeGods and y00ts were created on Solana in October 2021.[1] On 2022-12-25 Vora, as founder of DeLabs, announced that DeGods would bridge to Ethereum and y00ts to Polygon, calling it a "social experiment"; DeLabs took a $3 million non-equity grant from Polygon Labs for the y00ts move.[3] The migration used Wormhole as a one-way burn-and-mint.[3] DeGods moved to Ethereum in April 2023.[1] In August 2023 y00ts announced it would leave Polygon for Ethereum and return the $3 million grant, to unite the two communities.[1]

Vora resigned as CEO on 2025-05-12, naming pseudonymous members @0x_chill and @pastagotsauce as successors.[2]

Style[edit]

At DeGods he introduced a 33.3% royalty on sales below the floor price, with fees used to buy and burn cheap NFTs.[2] He drew criticism for raising 176 BTC for BTC DeGods without a clear roadmap and for publicly denouncing the Solana NFT community.[2]

Controversies[edit]

In February 2025, after the Libra collapse, Vora said he received "insider information" and then walked the comments back; he retired his public wallet, which showed $4.4 million in profit, amid insider-trading accusations.[2] Critics alleged he used private group chats for early access to launches including LIBRA, and he was rumoured to have front-run Hailey Welch's HAWK token; MisakaTrades accused him of abandoning memecoins he promoted as part of the so-called "LA Vape Cabal".[2] Vora said he was not "on the run" and that there were no investigations into him.[2]
