Editing Doland Tremp

**Doland Tremp** (ticker **TREMP**) is a [[Solana]] memecoin parodying Donald Trump through a deliberately misspelled name. Launched on 27 February 2024, it was the earliest of the misspelled-politician coins that DL News could find, and the rival to [[Jeo Boden]] in the 2024 "[[PolitiFi]]" trade.[^1]

## Lore
TREMP started a short-lived Solana trend of misspelled celebrity names, of which BODEN became the largest.[^1] On 4 April 2024 TREMP traded at $0.83 with a market capitalisation of about $83 million, a smaller supply than BODEN's; Decrypt called it the largest Solana coin inspired by Trump.[^2] Its supply is about 100 million tokens, and CoinGecko records an all-time high of $1.51.[^7]

On 4 June 2024 Kraken listed TREMP and BODEN on Kraken Pro, the first major exchange open to US residents to list PolitiFi tokens.[^3]

- After the attempted assassination of Trump on 13 July 2024, TREMP rose about 85% to $0.73, then fell back to $0.45 by 15 July.[^5]
- When Biden left the race on 21 July 2024, TREMP gained 24%.[^6]

TREMP is unrelated to [[Official Trump]], the token Trump himself launched on Solana in January 2025.
