**DEX Screener** (also **Dexscreener**) is a crypto data platform that charts trading pairs on decentralized exchanges across many chains, used by memecoin traders to find new tokens and by journalists as a source for volume and market-value figures.[^1][^2][^3] ## Products ### Charts and trending Each pair page shows price, volume, liquidity and transactions; news outlets regularly cite these figures, for instance [[Base]]'s 24-hour volume during the 2023 BALD episode.[^3] A Trending list ranks tokens by a Trending Score built from on-chain and off-chain metrics.[^4] ### Boosts Projects can buy Boost packs that apply a multiplier to a token's Trending Score for 12 to 24 hours. A token with 500 or more active Boosts gets a "Golden Ticker", shown in gold. Boosts are non-refundable, tokens inactive for 24 hours or flagged by third-party auditors cannot be boosted, and moderators can remove Boosts from tokens they flag as malicious.[^4] ### Enhanced Token Info A paid listing upgrade adds a logo, social links, project description and locked-supply wallets used to correct the displayed market value; the marketplace listed it at $299, down from $499.[^5] ### Moonshot On 24 June 2024 DEX Screener launched [[Moonshot]], a [[pump.fun]]-style token launcher on [[Solana]]. Minting cost about 0.02 SOL; at 500 SOL of market value a token moved to [[Raydium]] with 150 to 200 million tokens burned. Moonshot said its contracts were audited and its tokens "unruggable", without giving details.[^1] About 7,000 tokens were made within a day, of which 27 reached the threshold.[^2] [[Jupiter]] announced a majority stake in Moonshot on 25 January 2025.[^6] ## Criticism Because any token with a pool appears on the site, scam and copycat tokens show trading activity alongside real ones. In January 2025 Decrypt reported that DEX Screener and Uniswap had partnered with Blockaid to keep scam tokens out of search results.[^7] ## Timeline - 2024-06-24: Moonshot launched[^1] - 2025-01-25: Jupiter takes a majority stake in Moonshot[^6] - 2025-01-28: Decrypt reports DEX Screener's Blockaid scam filtering[^7] ## See also - [[Axiom]] - [[GMGN]] - [[Photon]] - [[BullX]] - [[Trojan]] - [[Jito]] - [[Copy trading]] ## References 1.
