Editing Butthole Coin

**Butthole Coin** (ticker **BUTTHOLE**, also written Buttholecoin) is a [[Solana]] memecoin launched in December 2024, during the rally in [[Fartcoin]], with which it shares its toilet-humour theme.[^1][^2] Its price peaked on 6 January 2025.[^3]

## Lore
CoinDesk lists BUTTHOLE as a Solana meme token launched on 24 December 2024 with no stated utility; its contract carries the "pump" suffix of [[pump.fun]] tokens.[^1] BeInCrypto's market data records an all-time high price of $0.133 on 6 January 2025.[^3]

On 30 January 2025 Decrypt reported BUTTHOLE at a market cap of about $61 million after a 53% rise in 24 hours, in a session when Fartcoin and [[SPX6900]] also climbed sharply while Dogecoin lagged; it described the token as having a vibe similar to Fartcoin's.[^2]
