Trojan is a Telegram trading bot for Solana tokens, run by the team that built the Solana version of Unibot, and by fees the largest Telegram bot of 2024 and early 2025.[1][2][3]

History[edit]

Unibot, an Ethereum Telegram bot launched in May 2023, added Solana in January 2024. On 11 March 2024 its Ethereum developers ended the partnership with the Solana group, accusing it of breaking earlier agreements; the Solana side, through a developer called Reethmos, said users would not be affected and announced a rebrand. The UNIBOT token fell more than 40% that day.[1] The Solana group's bot became Trojan, which paid 50% of its revenue to Unibot holders by a pre-split snapshot and reserved the rest for holders of a future Trojan token.[2]

How it works[edit]

Users trade inside Telegram: they paste a token's contract address into the bot, which buys the amount set. Memecoin traders use such bots because they are faster than a decentralized exchange's website; fees ran from 0.5% to 1% per trade in March 2024.[2]

Notable events[edit]

On 25 March 2024 DL News reported that Trojan, BONKbot and Banana Gun had together generated over $725,000 in fees in 24 hours, a week after Telegram bots peaked at over $700 million in daily volume.[2] In April 2025 Cointelegraph counted Trojan among the top five Telegram bots by historical volume and said it had received about $109 million in fees over six months, the most of any bot.[3] Web terminals then took the lead: by July 2025 Axiom held 72% of Solana trading-bot volume, ahead of BullX and Photon.[4]
